استحقار istiḥḳār A (inf. x. of حقارت) s. m. Treating with contempt, vilifying, scorning, despising.

استحقاق istiḥḳāḳ A (inf. x. of حقّ Heb. Was prescribed or necessary) s. m. Demanding jus- tice, claim, right, merit, ability.

تحقير taḥḳīr A (inf. ii. of حقارت) s. f. Despising, scorn, neglect, disdain.

تحقيق taḥḳīḳ A (inf. ii. of حقّ) 1. s. f. Ascer- taining, ascertainment, investigation, trial, verifi- cation, exactness, precision. 2. Truth, certain- ty. 3. adj. Authentick, ascertained, actual, real, indubitable, apparent. 4. adv. Truly, in- deed. تحلحل taḥalḥul A (inf. ii. of حلحل) s. The being forced to move from a place.

تحليل taḥlīl A (inf. ii. of حلّ) s. (used generally in compos. with verbs) 1. Dissolving, diges- tion, concoction, solubility. 2. Making lawful. تحليل هونا taḥlīl honā, To waste, to consume.

تحمل taḥammul A (inf. v. of حمل) s. m. Pa- tience, endurance, long-suffering, resignation, forbearance, truce, peace, meekness, humility. تحمل کرنا taḥammul karnā, To endure, bear, forbear, be patient.

تحميد taḥmīd A (inf. ii. of حمد) s. f. Praising God repeatedly.

تحميل taḥmīl A (inf. ii. of حمل) s. f. 1. Burthening, imposing a load on. 2. Importuning, asking more than oneʼs right.

تحور taḥauwur A (inf. v. of حور) s. m. 1. Haste, celerity. 2. Anger.

تحويل taḥwīl A (inf. ii. of حول) s. f. 1. Change, transfer, renovation, return. 2. Passing of the Sun, Moon, or a planet from one sign to ano- ther. 3. Trusts, charges, cash; (in) the charge. (Plur. تحويلات taḥwīlāt). A.P. تحويلدار taḥwīl-dār, s. m. A cash-keeper, a treasurer. A.P. تحويلداري taḥwīl-dār-ī, s. f. The office of cash-keeper.
