ابتر abtar A (from بتر Was destitute of a tail: Heb. Cut short) adj. Ruined, spoiled, worthless, destitute of good qualities, dissolute, disorderly, disordered, wanton. ابترکرنا abtar karnā, To ruin, spoil, disorder.

پبترا pabitrā पवित्र S̱. s. m. A brāhmanical thread, a string of silken beads, a knotted piece of kusha grass used in religious ceremonies of the Hindūs.

پبتري pabitrī S (पवित्री) s. f. A ring of kusha grass (Poa cynosuroides), or of gold, silver, or copper, worn on the ring-finger and fore-finger by Hindūs during religious worship.
