اختصاص iḵẖtiṣāṣ A (inf. viii. of خصّ) s. m. Ap- propriation, peculiarity.

اخلاص iḵẖlāṣ A (inf. iv. of خلوص) s. m. Since- rity, affection, friendship, love. اخلاص کرنا یا رکهنا iḵẖlāṣ karnā or rakhnā, To esteem, &c., to be sincere. A.P. اخلاصمند iḵẖlāṣ-mand, adj. Sincere, friendly, affectionate; a friend. A.P. اخلاصمندي iḵẖlāṣ-mand-ī, s. f. Sincerity.

استخلاص istiḵẖlāṣ A (inf. x. of خلص Heb. Was free, separated) s. m. Seeking to liberate; liberation, liberty, freedom.

اشخاص ashḵẖāṣ A s. plur. (of شخص) Persons.

اصاغر aṣāg̠ẖir A adj. plur. (of اصغر) Little, mean, contemptible, poor.

اصالت aṣālat A or iṣālat (from اصل) s. f. Firmness, integrity, genuineness, the being well rooted, constancy, solidity of judgment.

اصالتا aṣālataṉ A adv. Originally, radically, firmly, entirely, absolutely.

اصحاب aṣʼḥāb A s. plur. (of صاحب) Lords, mas- ters, grandees, companions, friends, apostles. (In composition the word signifies) Possessed of; as اصحاب علم aṣʼḥāb-i-iﻌlm, Learned men, &c.

اصدار iṣdār A (inf. iv. of صدر) s. m. Producing, appearing, issuing.

اصرار iṣrār A (inf. iv. of صرّ) s. m. Persisting, perseverance (especially in something bad), ob- stinacy.

اصراف iṣrāf A (inf. iv. of صرف) s. m. Expenditure,

اصطباغ iṣt̤ibāg̠ẖ A (inf. viii. of صبغ Heb. and Ch. He stained) s. m. Imbuing, staining; dipping, baptism.

اصطبل iṣt̤abal A (vulg. aṣt̤abal) s. m. A stable.
