اشہاد ashʼhād A s. plur. (of شاهد) Witnesses, eye-witnesses, they who were present at any transaction.

اشہاد ishʼhād A (inf. iv. of شہادت) s. m. Ta- king to witness, bringing proof.

اشہب ashʼhab A adj. Of a black and white colour, in which the white prevails; grey (a horse), ash or dun-coloured (a camel or mule).

اشہد ashʼhadu A v. 1st. pers. pres. tense, I bear witness. اشہد ان لااله الاال‍له ashʼhadu an lā ilāha illā-llāh, I bear witness that there is no God but God.
