آپکاجي āp-kājī S̱. (آپ Self, q. v. and कार्य्य Business) adj. Attending to own business, engaged in own affairs.

اجل ajal A s. f. The term of life, fate, death, the hour of death, the predestined time of death, a stated time, delay, respite, period for the pay- ment of a debt. اجل رسیده ajal rasīda, Over- taken by fate. اجل گرفته ajal-girifta, Seized by fate, on the point of death, in a situation that leaves no hopes of life, in the jaws of death.

اجل ujjal उज्जवल S̱. adj. Clear, pure, shining, luminous, bright, splendid, blown, expanded.

اجلال ijlāl A (inf. iv. of جلّ) s. m. The bestowing or acknowledging of greatness; magnificence, glory, honour, respect.

اجلانا ujlānā S̱. (caus. of اجالنا) v. a. To cause to cleanse, to brighten.

اجلت ujjalit S̱. (उत् and ज्वलित Blazing) adj. Pure, clean, clear.

اجلنا ujalnā S̱. (उज्जवलन from उत् and r. ज्वल Shine) v. n. To become clean, to shine, to be bright.

اجله ajilla A s. plur. (of جلیل jalīl or اجل ajall) Illustrious men.

اجماع ijmāﻌ A (inf. iv of جمع) s. m. Act of as- sembling, an assembly, senate, council, court of justice, a crowd, collection, amount, whole. اجماع امت ijmāﻌ-i-ummat, s. m. General as- sembly of the people, unanimous consent.

اجمال ijmāl A (inf. iv. of جمل) s. m. An ab- stract, compendious account, synopsis.

اجمالي ijmāl-ī A adj. Abridged, compendious.
