آفتاوا āftāwā P s. m. An ewer. See آفتابه.

آوا āwā H s. m. A potterʼs kiln.

آواتي āwātī S̱. (from آنا To come, q. v.) s. f. Ap- proach, advance; the coming of an army, the approach of a friend; the season in which mer- chandise is expected.

آواجاٴي āwā-jāʼī S̱. (from آنا and جانا) s. f. Coming and going, intercourse, dancing after.

آوار āwār P or اوار awār, s. Injustice, tyranny.

آوارجه āwārja P or awārija, s. m. A journal, a diary.

آواره āwāra P adj. Vagabond, wanderer, disso- lute. آواره هونا āwāra honā, To wander, to be distressed, to be oppressed, to be miserable. آواره کرنا āwāra karnā, To make a wanderer, to expel, to harass. آواره گردي āwāra-gard-ī, s. f. Vagrancy, wandering about. (Plur. آوارگان).

آوارگي āwāra-gī P s. f. Wandering, the state of a wanderer, vagrancy, profligacy.

آواز āwāz P s. f. Voice, sound, report, fame, echo, a whisper, sentence. آوازاٿهانا āwāz uṭhānā, To raise the voice, to spread a report. آوازپڙنا āwāz paṛnā, 1. To be reported. 2. The voice to be suppressed (from hoarseness or otherwise).

آوازه āwāza P s. m. Report, fame, rumour, conversation, talking aloud.

آواهن āwāhan S̱. (आह्वान from आ and r. ह्वे Call) s. m. Calling, summons.

آواٴي āwāʼī H s. f. Report.

آواگمن āwā-gaman S̱. (from آنا To come, q. v. and गमन Going) s. Coming and going.

آواگون āwāgawan S̱. (see آواگمن āwā-gaman) s. m. Transmigration.

ارداوا ardāwā H s. m. Coarsely ground meal.
