آئي āʼī S̱. (from آنا) s. f. Coming.

آئين āʼīn P s. m. Regulation, institute, statute, rules, common law (the laws delivered by Mu- hammad being called شرع sharﻌ, and those established by princes, آئين ā-īn), custom, manner.

آواجاٴي āwā-jāʼī S̱. (from آنا and جانا) s. f. Coming and going, intercourse, dancing after.

آواٴي awāʼī S̱. 1. s. f. (from آنا To come) Ap- proach, advance. 2. A saddlecloth adorned with fringes, &c.

آواٴي āwāʼī H s. f. Report.

آينه āʼīna P s. m. 1. A mirror, a looking-glass. 2. The kneepan. آين بسته āʼīn-basta, or بسته آين basta-āʼīn, or آينه بند āʼīna-band, Adorned with mirrors. آينه بندي āʼīna-bandī, s. f. Or- namenting with mirrors. آينه دار āʼīna-dār, The maid who holds the mirror. آينه رو āʼīna-rū, Having a face bright as a mirror. آينه ساز āʼīna-sāz, A mirror-maker. آينه سازي āʼīna- sāz-ī, s. f. Mirror-making. آينه محل āʼīna- maḥal (a glazed house) An apartment the walls of which are covered with mirrors.

ابکاٴي ubkāʼī H (see ابکنا) s. f. Act of vomiting.

اترائي itrāʼī H f. adj. Affected, playful, wan- ton.

اتهائن athāʼīṅ S̱. (अ and r. ष्ठा Remain; q. d. not to remain or reside in) s. f. A place where people meet to converse and amuse themselves.

ادهکائي adhikāʼī S̱. (from ادهکانا) s. f. Increase, augmentation, abundance, excess; oppression.

ارناٴي arunāʼī अरुणता S̱. s. f. A dark red colour. See under ارن aruṇ.

اسماعیل ismāʼīﻌl A n. prop. Ishmael son of Abraham.

امراٴي amrāʼī S̱. (आम्र Mango tree, and राजी Line or row) s. f. A garden of mango trees. A. P. امراٴي umarā-ī, s. f. Nobility.

انبراي ambarāʼī S̱. (आम्र Mango, and राजि Row) s. f. A mango-orchard or - grove.

انگنائي angnāʼī S̱. s. f. See آنگن āngan.
